Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) Services
An LEI code – which stands for Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) – is a unique alphanumeric identification code associated with a single company or corporate entity. Unlike the well known IIOES, CUSIP or SEDOL codes that identify at the securities level (such codes identify the securities of the company, not the company itself), an LEI has been specifically designed to identify a corporate entity (at the corporate level, not the securities level). The LEI is 20 characters in length. Proudly, IIOES.org is an independent service provider for the global financial market and is proudly not affiliated with any banks, governments or financial associations or institutions.
